Simulated war, what a passion! In Italy there are more than 15,000 fans of Softair, divided into about 600 different teams, which compete on the “battlefield” every season, in any weather. A hobby, in fact, feasible 365 days a year, highly competitive and highly professional. Lovers of Softair undergo tough physical and technical training; advanced fighting techniques, camouflage and orientation techniques to reach the final goal, which is that of victory. Each team has its commander, with his subordinates. Each participant is provided with military equipment, comparable to that of a military professional, complete of overall and high-precision weapons (with fake and biodegradable bullets).
Young and less young, men and women, all share a strong sense of adventure, which sometimes turns into bond of friendship. At the end of the trainings the groups gather together over a beer or at the Softair market, where gadgets and theme souvenirs are sold.

In italia sono oltre 15.000 gli appassionati di softair, divisi in circa 600 squadre differenti, che si sfidano sul “campo di battaglia” ogni stagione, in qualsiasi condizione meteo. Un hobby, praticabile infatti, 365 giorni all’anno, altamente competitivo e con un elevato contenuto di professionalità. Gli amanti di softair si sottopongono a duri training di indottrinamento fisico e tecnico, per acquisire le più avanzate tecniche di combattimento nonché tecniche di mimetizzazione e orientamento e raggiungere l’obiettivo, che è quello della vittoria. Ogni squadra ha il suo comandante, con i suoi subordinati. Ogni partecipante è dotato di un equipaggiamento militare, paragonabile a quello di un militare professionista: tuta, armi di alta precisione (con proiettili finti e biodegradabili.
Giovani e meno giovani, uomini e donne, ma tutti accomunati da un forte senso dell’avventura, che a volte si trasforma anche in legame di amicizia. Al termine della “prova” ci si ritrova insieme davanti a una birra o al mercatino del softair, tra gadget, souvenir e articoli a tema.
