A scientific study published on the American journal “Pediatrics” makes it clear that there is no relationship between parental sexual orientation and behavioral development of children. A child needs love to grow up well; either it is given by homo or hetero couples is not relevant. Valentina and Silvia have been together for twelve years and have decided to have a child in Italy. Step by step: artificial insemination is done abroad, because the law forbids it to gay couples in our country, but then …“ you come back and you are a family for real. Parenthood breaks down prejudices, sweeps away the stereotypes, change distorted views that many of us still have” are the words of Ladelfa, president of Rainbow Families (three hundred families and two hundred children). This reportage tells the stories of some couples who have offered themselves to our lenses to bear witness of a “normality” conquered, day in day out.

Uno studio scientifico sulla rivista americana “Pediatrics” chiarisce che non c’è relazione tra orientamento sessuale dei genitori e sviluppo comportamentale dei figli. Un bambino ha bisogno di amore per crescere bene; che sia dato da coppie omo od eterosessuali non ha rilevanza.
