Firenze, (1973) Freelance photographer since 1990, Emiliano has worked in advertising, publishing and social photography. He is a co-founder of FotografiSenzaFrontiere-onlus, with which he has set up photography laboratories in Algeria, Palestine, Panama and Uganda. He has shot reportages in Italy, Papua New Guinea, Mongolia, China, India, Japan, Panama, Uganda, and Vietnam. His creative work, assembled in the vast work in progress entitled ‘MediaEvo’, is a critical and ironic interpretation of the contemporary world observed through the medium of television. His work has been exhibited at the 49th Venice Biennial (2001) and at various venues in Italy and abroad (Florence, Milan, Naples, Miami).Emiliano lives and works in Milan.
