Critical fashion is a new landscape in the world of fashion, where young designers are increasingly attentive to combine ethics and aesthetics. A meeting point between potential buyers, who wonder about what to wear, and big and small “griffes”, critical fashion is more than a trend; it is based on the attention both of the purchaser and of the producer about eco-sustainable development issues, labor rights and social sustainability.We have selected four young emergent trademarks from the Critical Fashion Shows held in March 2010 in Milan, at the Exhibition “Fa la cosa giusta” (“Do the right thing”). We have met the makers of these brands, who are giving all their inventiveness and professional engagement to this cause.
C’è un fenomeno nuovo nel mondo della moda, che vede protagonisti giovani designer sempre più attenti a coniugare etica ed estetica. E’ la “Critical Fashion”. Qui si incontrano le volontà di chi acquista e si interroga su cosa indossare, e l’interesse di griffes grandi e piccole. La Critical Fashion è più di un trend passeggero; nasce da un’attenzione crescente sia da parte sia del consumatore che del produttore ai temi di sviluppo eco-sostenibile, diritto del lavoro e sostenibilità sociale.Dalle sfilate di Critical Fashion presentate nel marzo 2010 a “Fa la cosa Giusta” a Milano abbiamo selezionato quattro giovani marchi emergenti: per ciascuno di essi, abbiamo incontrato le persone che li animano, con creatività, impegno e grande professionalità.
